Oblivion - VFX Shot

Description

This is a VFX shot where I tried to transform the environement.

To do that, I started to track the shot with syntheyes. This track was difficult because the shot was made with a DJI Mavic Pro, and the camera is stabilised. So there were little strange movements.

With this track, I made a restore of the vehicules with a projection on a card.

For the matte painting, I took an image of the shot, I went into photoshop and I made the matte painting. For the Statue of Liberty, I used 3Ds Max and a model.

To make the compositing, I imported my element and I projected into differents card. I used a framehold to lock my project camera on the image of reference (used for the compositing into photoshop).

I tried to match elements with a color grading into Nuke.

It was dificult to recreate the grain on my elements because the compression of the shot was very strange.

LauDistortion

Description

This is a script which doesn't have a really utility, but it was a personnal challenge to create a script for Nuke with a UI.

Indeed, it is a script, that allow to apply a LensDistortion to a shot with goods values. For exemple, if you have a shot made with a gopro hero 3. You can search this camera and if we have this camera into the database, you can automatically create the LensDistortion Node.

To do that, I used the module Sqlite3 to manage the database and Pyside (QtGUI and QtCore) to create the UI. When you launch the script, it is check on my website if you have the latest version of the database. If not, the program will ask you if you want to download the latest version. If you are agree with that, the script will download. To do that, I used the module urllib.

I used these modules because there are included into Nuke, and the final user no need to install anything.

At this moment this script is finished at 90% (The UI works on Nuke, and all of the functions are fine) I just want to make all test on nuke to be sure that the script doesn't crash.

Perrier - The hand

Description

This is a teamwork and we were 3 people to do that.

It is a remake of an advertisement for Perrier made by Mathematics.

We did all of this (shooting, 3d, compositing...)

We had got a lot of difficulties with the animation, because we don't have any skills on that.

On this project, I did the editing, the HDRI of the scene, cap & basket assets (modeling & texturing), the compositing of two shots and the color grading.

Auto Comping 3D Passes Script

Description

Here is a script that i made on Nuke.

You can customise the node that you want for a 3D pass. You can also add options for a node.

Warning : At this moment this script work with only one selected sequence of 3D passes. And sometimes the script doesn't find the passe for the shuffle. But I will upload a V2 with a fix for that. Moreover, the right operation for the Merge node are not good (This program is in development and it is not my priority for this moment)

Game Of Thrones

Description

A 3D & Compositing work.

I made a photogrammetry for the head, I cleaned the data on Zbrush.
I made the texturing, the lightning and the animation on 3dsMAX.
The compositing (restore of two errors in the mesh of the head (and noticeable in the render), Deph of field and the grain) were made in Nuke.
The color grading was made on Davinci Resolve.

Postage Stamp Script

Description

This script allow to activate/desactivate the Postage Stamp function of all nodes which are selected in the comp if the nodes have the postage stamp capability. Ok just type Alt+P and you have the same result !

Portfolio

Description

I made my portfolio like a CMS. Indeed, i programmed all the aspect and all the features (for example an admin panel with a MVC architecture).

With this, I can edit the content of my portfolio. I also paid an intention with the security of the forms and to had a responsive design website.

Le Chapardeur

Description

"Le Chapardeur" is a short movie directed by Orlane Dumas. In this short movie i was the director of photography.

I made the light in order to create a house in the dark. It was a very good exercise because i could exercise myself on the light.

This short movie was made during my Bachelor's Degree.

Film Poster

Description

Here is a poster of a film. It was a exercise during my master's degree. For this exercise we had the constraint of the perspective.

It was a very good exercise for the matte paintning. Once the composition done, I took a picture of myself on a green screen in order to make an integration.

Alice au pays des MMIrveilles

Description

Il s'agit d'un court métrage que j'ai réalisé durant ma deuxième année de DUT MMI à l'IUT de Lens. Le scénario a été écrit par trois étudiantes de mon groupe.

J'ai dirigé une équipe de 15 personnes, j'ai aussi effectué tous les effets spéciaux sur After-Effect.

Bien que j'ai été fier de notre travail, je trouve aujourd'hui qu'il y a beaucoup de défauts. Si c'était à refaire, j'éviterai certaines choses et je ferai beaucoup plus attention à d'autres. Par exemple si je devais refaire le tournage, je tiendrai plus compte de l'éclairage (notamment sur le fond vert) et du son.

Matte Painting 1er essai

Description

I made this matte painting 3 years ago, on After Effect. To do that, I used Photoshop to make the matte of buildings and the bridge. Then I impoted the elements into After effect. I used a luma key to inlay the buildings behind the trees.

Finally I made the color correction to increase the post-apocalyptique aspect.

3d rendering

Description

The aim of the exercise was to try to create a rendering very close to the reality with the engine render "Mental Ray".

I used 3ds Max 2017 for all the aspect of this project.

I made a multi-pass render (with the diffuse, shadows, beauty) and I made the comping into Photoshop. For exemple the depth of field was created with the Z-deph pass and the lens blur.

To finish, I applied a color grading and à filter (a looks with grain...) to "soil" the render.

Lego Minifigs Collector

Description

Lego Minifigs Collector vous permet de gérer votre collection de minifigs Lego! Vous pouvez ainsi repérer en un coup d’œil les figurines que vous possédez et celles que vous recherchez!

Je suis en effet passionné de Lego (AFOL) et j'ai eu envie de concevoir ce site internet pour permettre a d'autres personnes comme moi de répertorier leurs collections, échanger... Le site comprend une messagerie privée, un espace de visualisation de la collection, un système d'ami...

J'ai entièrement conçu le site. J'ai utilisé le framework Bootstrap pour avoir tout un panel d’éléments pour le responsive design. Puis j'ai effectué du CSS pour mettre un design comme je le voulais. Pour finir j'ai codé les fonctions en PHP afin d'offrir un site entièrement dynamique !
